THE SECOND EDITION OF TUSCAN REWIND IS ABOUT TO BE ORGANIZED. IT IS THE FIRST REAL RALLY HELD ON GRAVEL ROAD, DEDICATED TO HISTORICAL RALLY CARS – AND WHICH WILL BE HELD FROM THE 20TH TO 22ND OF MAY 2011, HAVING MONTALCINO AS THE CENTRAL POINT OF THE COMPETITION. MOTORPROJECT, WITH THE SUPPORT OF FAMS AND MONTALCINO MOTOR SPORT, WITH THE COLLABORATION OF MIKI BIASION, ARE ALREADY AT WORK IN ORGANIZING THE EVENT WHICH UNITES SPORT, COMPETITION AND IMPORTANT HISTORICAL-SPORTS ELEMENTS.

Montalcino (Siena). In the light of the vast international success obtained by the first edition of the event – held last year, and overcoming the difficulties of any first edition, Vito Piarulli and his Motorproject together with Fams Federation Motor Association of San Marino and Montalcino Motor Sport in collaboration with Miki Biasion, have organized the 2nd Tuscan Rewind – a rally on gravel road dedicated to historical rally cars, but also open to cars of Expired Homologation and followed by Legend Stars, a category which exhibits un-classified cars, and valuable cars including Group B. The dates of the event are from the 20th to the 22nd of May with registration on the 1st of March.
Other than purely competitive and spectacular, the historical-sports aspects will also be dealt with and, as last year, well-known champions and pilots will give further shine to the event.
The program of the three-day event Tuscan Rewind is being defined: but it will be in Montalcino, the heart of Tuscany and also the wine-producing capital of Brunello and other well-known labels – the pivot of the event.
The route will include special stages on gravel road, made famous by the World Championship Rally of the 80s and 90s: this entails new and different stages from the 2010 edition.
The prestigious frame of Banfi Castle will host various phases of Tuscan Rewind both in the preparatory phase and in the preliminary operations of checking, shake-down and the actual competition.
The reference point as from now in the first preparatory phase, is the website www.tuscanrewind.com, which will be constantly updated with all the news concerning the event.
