Peugeoty 207 na českém teritoriu
Se čtyřmi koly, které zbývají do konce šampionátu, vstupuje   Intercontinental Rally Challenge 2009 do své rozhodující části. Peugeot má převahu v pořadí konstruktérů, avšak pořadí jezdců zatím zůstává otevřené: Kris Meeke (207 S2000 Peugeot UK) vede s 34 body před Janem Kopeckým – 29 bodů, který bude za volantem Škody Fabie na domácí půdě. Dále následují Giandomenico Basso (Fiat Abarth) a Freddy Loix (207 S2000 Peugeot Belgie – Luxemburg) – 27 bodů.

S výhodou pěti bodů v pořadí jezdců bude Kris Meeke muset čelit silné
konkurenci.
39. ročník Barum Czech Rally Zlín se odehraje v sobotu 22. a v neděli 23.  srpna.
